Anchor Listing Villa wonderful private, 2 spacious bedroom, multileveled,
4,000 square foot luxury resort villa located in the exclusive
Content Estates area just 7 miles west of Montego Bay Jamaica,
only 15 minutes from the airport!
Well-placed on four landscaped garden acres, the villa was built
in 1972 on land once owned by Winston Churchill.
There are two spacious 20' X 24' bedroom suites which are located
in 30' vaulted ceilings. Each suite has its own private bath and
was designed take advantage of the constant sea and mountain breezes.
Two covered lanais off the large, solar heated, freshwater pool
provide shade and comfort to our pampered guests.
Our gourmet meals at the Villa are lavish feasts followed by freshly
brewed Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. Guests are served at poolside,
balcony, on the upper terrace or in the dining room. Each of these
locations capture the magnificent view of Montego Bay and the
Caribbean. Candlelight dinners are served on the veranda by John
Chambers, our live-in butler and Anchor Listing Villa's Manager.
The pool area has stairs that access the upper terrace and living
areas of the Villa. Guests can also enter the pool area from the
40 foot balcony in front of the bedroom wing. Whether you worship
the sun or prefer a good book in the shade, there's always a spot
at poolside to keep you comfortable and relaxed.
Our spacious bedroom suites offer our guests an unparalleled view
of the Caribbean and Montego Bay through the French doors which
lead to the balcony. With 2 large bedroom suites, our villa can
accomodate two couples or a family of 4-6 in comfort and luxury.
Each suite generously measures 20' X 24' and comes with a full
bath. There is a 1/2 bath off the main stairway leading to the
dining room and upper patio.
Throw open your French doors and let the Tradewinds cool and soothe
you. Enjoy fresh, hot coffee on the balcony each morning when
you awake as only John can prepare it. Our Villa caters to the
most discerning traveler who seeks the privacy and independence

The Villa is charmingly nestled into the side of the hill, with
Jamaica's wild tropical plants cozied up to the meticulous plantings
maintained by the staff gardener. Looking like it came from a
sultry fairy tale, the Villa is a magical place that delights
the eye, warms the heart, and pleases the palate. If you love
flowers, Anchor Listing Villa gardens are a place for you. Allamanda,
Anthurium, Ginger, Hibiscus, Jasmine, Orchids and Poinsettia just
name a few of the exquisite blooms you can find growing in abundance
in our delightful gardens.
Our Staff at Anchor Listing Villa:
John Chambers is the Villa's Major Domo, Chauffeur and resident
expert on Jamaican folklore and tourist information. After your
flight lands in Montego Bay, John whisks you away from the hustle
and bustle of the busy island airport to the serene comfort of
the Villa. Ice cold fruit juice, Red Stripe Beer or John's reknowned
rum punch await your parched palate...your island escape has begun.
Our Villa Manager, John Chambers will meet
you and your party at the airport and transport you to the Villa.
From then on, John is available to you for your entire stay at
Anchor Listing Villa. Our gourmet chef, Carlene Chambers, has the reputation
of being the best in Montego Bay. Every meal is delightfully special
and served to you beside the pool, on the upper terrace or in
the dining room. Carlene specializes in preparing Jamaican specialties
such as pumpkin soup or exquisite island curries and can cook
any American favorites you might request. If you plan an outing
to Negril, a mere 45 minutes away, Carlene will pack your picnic
lunch, and have a delectable dinner prepared upon your arrival
back at the Villa at the appointed hour. Our full-time gardener, has a wealth of knowledge
on the beauty, characteristics, and medicinal values of the native
plants found wild and cultivated on our 4 acre paradise. He can
take you on a walking tour of the property and surrounding area
that is both fun and informative.
Meal Plans
Anchor Listing Villa boasts the finest connoisseur of Jamaican
and American food and drink. Meal plans to fit every taste are
available for the vacationers at the Villa.
Breakfast always includes:
3 or 4 different fresh fruits: grapefruit, pineapple, papaya,
mango, banana - or whatever is the very best available in the
market in any given season.
Eggs served to perfection any way you like them.

French Toast
Muffins
Fresh brewed Jamaican coffee
Lunch
If you request, we can also arrange to have lunch served to you
at poolside or on the varanda. This includes:

Dinner is always very special at Anchor Listing, served in the
dining room or on the terrace overlooking the the twinkling lights
of Montego Bay in an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. The dinners
served at the Villa feature a cross section of Jamaican culinary
delights that have pleased our guests since 1977. Your gourmet
dinner begins with:
A salad of the finest fresh vegetables
Followed by a skillfully prepared entree of your choosing. Curried
Lobster, Red Snapper or Jack Fish are some of the native dishes
prepared to perfection by our goumet chef, Carlene.
If you prefer true American cooking, Carlene is skilled in many
types of cuisine, and can amaze you with her ability to tempt
your tastebuds. Simply ask let her know what your tastes are and
she will create a dinner that will please your palate.
Dinner is concluded with dessert and if you desire, coffee served
under the stars. Ask John to serve you his famous after dinner
specialty, a delightful concoction made with our island's own
Jamaican coffee. It's a treat you'll never forget.
