Wilks at Wilks Bay is a collection of luxury 1, 2 and 3 bedroom
villas situated on a small estate at the heart of the San San
resort area which stretches from Gee Jam Hotel in the west to
Blue Lagoon in the east.
It is located on the waterfront between Frenchman’s Cove Hotel
(one of Conde Nast’s 16 best beaches worldwide) and San San Bay
with its Monkey Island.
At Wilks the lawns and beautiful gardens of bananas, breadfruit,
avocado and other tropical fruit trees and flowering shrubs slope
gently down to the ocean.
The estate has a large freeform pool and sundeck next to its
own private beach with a jetty leading into the ocean and coral
reef. There are kayaks and the cove is perfect for swimming, snorkelling
and scuba diving.
The waterfront villas at Wilks have been newly restored and echo
the traditional San San style made popular in the 1950’s and 60’s
when the international jet set first came to Port Antonio seeking
a private hideaway of barefoot luxury.
The San San and Blue Lagoon Villas, especially those sitting
at the water’s edge, are among the most photographed houses in
the Caribbean and have been included in many movies and magazines.
All the villas at Wilks have ocean and garden views, and the
bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and air-conditioning.
Your attentive, yet discrete staff will tend to your every need,
or leave you to be alone, as you wish. They can tell you what
there is to do in the area and will help you arrange it. They
can accompany you, for example, into the local market to buy fruits
or craftwork.
Meals can be served in your villa, on your private outdoor patio
or anywhere else on the estate – your staff will set up your table
under the trees, on the beach, on the jetty - anywhere you please.
Across the road from Wilks is the San San Tropez Hotel and Italian
restaurant.
Entry to Frenchman’s Cove and San San beaches is free to Wilks’
guests.

Getting Here
The closest international airport is Norman Manley International
in Kingston. For those who wish to experience the scenic drive,
you may choose to be picked up by a private driver and taken to
your villa in Port Antonio. It is approximately 2 1/2 hours from
Kingston Airport to San San. If you would
like to rent a car or have a car and private driver, contact
