Malatai villa is one of our most deluxe luxury villas in Ocho
Rios, and with a wonderful stretch of white sandy beach, great
for morning or evening walks! Privately located through an automatic
gate, and two koi ponds add to the beauty as you arrive under
the port-cochere at the front door. Views of the ocean are dramatic,
as you enter into the beautifully appointed living room with antique
bird cage you know you are in for a treat. Jatoba wood, marble,
granite, Italian tile and Jerusalem stone are used throughout
and high ceilings are ideal to catch the Caribbean breeze.
An expansive combination living and formal dining room downstairs
opens out onto a covered veranda overlooking the pool and white
sand beach beyond. The pool has a built-in children’s pool with
bubbler and a heated Jacuzzi. For active guests, complimentary
4 single-seater and 4 double-seater kayaks, snorkeling equipment,
floats and small surf boards are available. An automated wooden
fence provides privacy from the beach while affording easy access.
The owner has installed a state of the art kitchen where selected
chefs prepare the most delicious meals, and these creations can
be served inside the formal dining room, or on the outside veranda
which is located by the river, or if you choose, to dine by the
beach. This is a spectacular venue for special weddings, corporate
retreats or events requiring a special atmosphere to remember.
The chef can prepare outdoor grill / beach parties, hiring reggae
bands to soothe the nights away, witnessing magical tropical sunsets.
Places for relaxing are everywhere. Comfy chairs on the downstairs
veranda for those who have had enough of the sun, pool lounges
ready for your next dip and chairs set under the trees by the
tiny river that runs beside the property, perfect for meditating
or doing nothing at all. Available to guests is also a dining
area and bar with TV on the veranda.
For more flexibility in additional dining options, there is a
barbecue area with a gas and charcoal grill by the swimming pool,
great for cooking the catch of the day from morning fisherment
who bring in fresh lobsters, crabs, fish and our chef will serve
just as you like them.
For active guests, next to the barbecue area is a fully equipped,
air-conditioned gym with ceiling fan. There is a treadmill, elliptical
trainer, free weights (5 – 40 lbs.), weights bench, exercise ball
and a TV with cable and workout videos.
For indoor confort, there is a large air-conditioned family room/office
has a large screen TV, Cable, DVD player, CD system, a large library
of CDs and DVDs, board games and for those who need to keep in
touch with the world, high speed internet access with computer,
printer and fax machine. The music is piped through the living/dining
room, patio, pool and Jacuzzi areas for your listening pleasure.
Upstairs are the two master bedrooms each with a king sized bed,
flatscreen TV, large marble bathroom with walk-in showers, Jacuzzi
bathtub, double sinks and make-up counters. These two bedrooms
share a large balcony with wicker chairs and lounges.
Also upstairs is the children’s room which is air-conditioned
with 3 pairs of bunk beds, TV and its own bathroom.
3 of the bedrooms are downstairs, each with two queen sized beds
and its own marble bathroom with tub and shower. They are all
air-conditioned with ceiling fans and flatscreen TVs with cable.
All have private terraces with views of the pool and sea beyond.
All bedrooms have safes and telephones. The house has a full complement
of staff with a butler/house manager, chef, under chef/housekeeping
manager, two housekeepers and a gardener.
Malatai can also be your spa retreat, as the staff can organize
spa treatments at the villa, or if you choose, yoga instructions.
For the more active guests, try Malatai’s kayaks or snorkeling
equipment and cruise the coastline where you will witness some
of the most gorgeous seaside homes in Jamaica.
Maximum occupancy is 10 adults and 4 children under the age of
12.

All 6 bedrooms have Sony flat-screen televisions, telephone with
intercom and air conditioning, safes, balconies which are nicely
furnished and have commanding views of the Caribbean Sea.

bathroom, double basin vanities, whirlpool bathtubs and a separate
walk in shower with 4 water-jets in each shower. This bedroom
and bathroom open onto a balcony which overlooks the wonderful
private swimming pool and Caribbean Sea.
Master Bedroom 2
Four poster kingsize bed, flat screen TV, wooden floors, ensuite
bathroom, double basin vanities, whirlpool bathtubs and a separate
walk in shower with 4 water-jets in each show. This bedroom and
bathroom open onto a balcony which overlooks the wonderful private
swimming pool and Caribbean Sea.
Children’s Room
This is a special room for kids which has 3 bunk beds, or a total
or 6 twin beds, hardwood floors. Ensuite bathroom and tub- shower
combination. This bedroom also opens up to a balcony.
Downstairs:
Bedroom 3 has two queen size beds, Wonderful Jerusalem stone floors,
flat screen TV, ensuite bathroom and opens out to a private furnished
patio with fantastic Caribbean seaviews .
Bedroom 4 has two queen size beds, Wonderful Jerusalem stone floors,
