as Art Gallery Hotel, the luxurious Jamaica Palace by the sea.

Reception Location - The Pool Bar
Our most popular location has been completely remodelled and refurbished.
It is ideally suited for these special functions. Surrounding
the building are sundecks and the 114' pool in the shape of the
island of Jamaica.
Seating capacity 150 extendable possibility to 250. It features
a Bar and a Buffet- Serving-Station complete with Charcoal Grill.
The ceremony can be held on the surrounding deck or lawn.
Location - The "Gallery" Dining Room
The Dining room features a large waterfall made from cave stones
found in the area and has a seating capacity of up to 90 persons.
It is air-conditioned for your comfort, lighted by candles and
crystal chandeliers. Meals may be served Table Service for small
gatherings or presented Buffet Style ( 30+ persons )
Location - The Formal Dining Room
For the most private and elegant party the setting of the "Formal
Dining Room" offers ambience and gracious style reflected in the
details of the large wall tapestry and the plush and comfortable
seating accommodating up to 80 persons.
Crystal chandeliers, antique furnishings and paintings compliment
the decor. The room features a dance area and is climatized for
your comfort. Meals are served "Table Service" or "Buffet" style
(30+ persons)

THE HISTORY:
The two storey structure of the Jamaica Palace Hotel was hand-crafted
by more than sixhundred workers and artists on site during 1987
and 1988.
The masterpiece of palladian architecture with its countless interior
and exterior details opened its doors for business in December
1988, three month after surviving Hurricane Gilbert without any
damage.
Being of such uniqueness, the Hotel immediately attracted the
interest of Robin Leach, Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous. Robin
Leach not only listed the Jamaica Palace among the Top Ten ‘ up
and coming’ Hotels in the World in his Projections of the 90’s,
by referring to it as a ‘ Baby Buckingham Palace’, but also featured
it over a long period of time in his series ‘ Runaway with the
Rich and Famous’.
The majestic appearance of the structure, its perfect integration
into the lush tropical surroundings, the elaborate spacious layout
of the elegantly furnished rooms and public areas, combined with
a ‘one of a kind art collection in the island’, led to the development
of becoming a highly demanded Location-Spot for Film Productions,
Television Travel Features, Advertising Agencies and Travel Writers.
Over the last decade, the Jamaica Palace was the Host of many
Film Crews such as: ‘Treasure Island’, ‘ Cocktails’, ‘Eden’, ‘
In with Flynn’,’ Searching for Mobray’, ‘ Forever Eden’, ‘ Lively
up yourself ‘, just to name a few.
The Hotel’s Pool in the shape of the island and the stunning black
and white design of the Pool Bar were chosen as cover pages by
international in-flight Magazines.
All the foregoing was crowned, when the Hotel’s famous Sundeck
appeared on the cover of Terry McMillan’s first edition of ‘ How
