Stonaway is a wonderful deluxe villa nestled in the hills of
Ocho Rios. This villa is among fabulous private homes, and is
also located a minutes drive away from the famous and beautiful
Shaw Park Gardens and waterfalls. This is one of the most beautiful
and lush places in Jamaica.
As you drive into the gates of Stoneaway, there stands a majestic Georgian, luxurious private home. As you enter this home, there are steps leading down to the living area, very nicely furnished with the most elegant choice of furnishings. There are large over-stuffed sofas and stately wing-back chairs. The fabrics used are beautiful chintz and the window treatments are matching with the same luxurious finishing.
This large and spacious living room opens out through wonderful French doors to a wonderful large veranda. This veranda is is fully furnished with lovely tropical wicker furniture and is the most relaxing days in Jamaica. This is a great section of the house for entertaining.
The views from this veranda are spectacular. There are very few prime locations on this hill side of Jamaica, Stoneaway has one of the best sites for viewing the Ocho Rios and Caribbean Seaviews!
There is a very comfortable bedroom downstairs, easy access to the living room, verandah and swimming pool. Upstairs there is a luxurious masterbedroom....decorated with the same high quality, luxury soft furnishings as the rest of the bedrooms in this wonderful private home.
All bedrooms are airconditioned. The bathroom for the master bedroom
is grand, with double sinks, and a large bath tub, with tropical
plants sourrounding this bathtub for the real tropical feel.
The master bedroom has a wonderful mahogany four poster bed, bedroom 2 and 3 are furnished with luxurious King beds. Downstairs, the bedroom is furnished with twin beds....all bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and air-conditioning.
You will not want to leave the luxurious sourroundings of Stoneaway. Not only are the interiors of this house luxurious, but the gardens are very well maintained with many tropical palms, and Jamaica's colourful shrubs such as hibiscus, bouganvillea, and many other fragrant shrubs.
Stonaway is located just minutes from the beach, water sport activities, the famous Dunns River falls, and Ocho Rios' new Island village shopping center. There are many fine restaurants, local craft markets, and duty-free shopping available in Ocho Rios.
This villa is fully staffed with cook, housekeeper, laundress and gardener.
Nearest beach is Reggae Beach, just a 5 minute drive away. You
have to pay about $4 to get in as an entry fee, and it is well
worth it!!!
