Discovery bay is a small seaside village situated between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. It has a busy and bustling centre where you will find a supermarket, gas station, police station, Internet cafe and many local inexpensive restaurants and bars. It is where Christopher Columbus first landed in 1494.

It has the only horse-shoe shaped bay in Jamaica. Villa Brawta is a tastefully designed home nestled among the lush vegetation on the hillside of Discovery Bay. It boasts a magnificent and breathtaking view of the ocean. It has 4 charming bedrooms all with AC and ceiling fans, and each with their own ensuite.

There is a large covered open air patio which over looks the free form pool and is ideal for relaxing and dining. The kitchen and lounge are open plan. Villa Brawta can accommodate 6 adults very comfortably, and in a smaller bedroom extra beds are available for children or teenagers. There is a Jacuzzi® that holds 6 adults for total relaxation after a busy day of sight seeing.

You will receive exceptional Jamaican hospitality from our staff. Neil and Leva are there to help you have the best vacation possible. Leva is a wonderful cook and will delight you with Jamaican cuisine and yet can also please you with cooking of your own choice. Neil will help with the pool furniture, setting up the barbecue and will even serve your drinks if you choose.

If you wish to go touring we can arrange a dependable driver for you or help you with a car rental from a reputable company. We can also arrange your transfers to and from the airport. There are many attractions near by: Green Grotto Caves 5 minutes; Runaway Bay Golf and Country Club 10 minutes; Scuba Diving/Jet Skiing/Fishing 10 minutes; Chukka Cove (horseback riding in the ocean) 20 minutes; Rafting on the Martha Brae River 15 minutes; Browns Town (Market) 15 minutes; Dunns River Falls 30 minutes; Ocho Rios 30 minutes and offers night life, restaurants and shopping.

There are several famous all-inclusive Hotels not far from Villa Brawta. Beaches, Braco Hedonism and Sandels Dunns River. It's possible to buy a day or evening pass and enjoy all of the activities offered, and then to return to the privacy and serenity or your home away from home. There is a Jerk Pork Bar close by where you can enjoy live music and a local flair on Friday nights. Our local Puerto Seco Beach, set in a park, is clean and safe. It is a 10 minute stroll down the hill from Villa Brawta.

The pristine water is wonderful for swimming and snorkeling, there are large beautiful trees for shade as well as open beach for sun bathing. You will not have to pack drinks or food as there is a concession stand that sells beer and ice cold drinks. You can also buy food and snacks. For your convenience there are showers and toilets.

If you are looking for a Jamaican experience with a comfortable and relaxing ambiance then Villa Brawta should be your vacation of choice. 'Brawta' is a Jamaican word. It means 'a little extra' this is what we offer at Villa Brawta.

Villa Brawta is less than 5 minutes drive to Puerto Seco Beach - one of Jamaica's most beautiful bays with blue azures of the Caribbean Sea.
