Windward is a wonderful beachfront villa with an outstanding
staff and secure, spacious surroundings. Located only 4 miles
away from the Montego Bay airport, you will not have a long journey
once you disembark your airplane. Windward is located on the "golden
mile" on the same beach strip between Sandals Royal Caribbean
Hotel, the Half Moon and Ritz Carlton Hotels.
There are three televisions with 50 + TV channels from the USA,
UK & Canada. There is also a VCR as well as a DVD player for watching
"VHS or DVD" movies as well as an audio CD and cassette player.
Each bedroom also has a color Television set.
Three large private bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms
are air-conditioned and all also have ceiling fans. The master
bedroom contains a king size mahogany four poster bed. One bedroom
has two double mahogany four poster beds and the third bedroom
is on the ground floor and has two twin beds.
There is an upstairs living area and a large upstairs verandah.
You will enjoy the wonderful full size fresh water pool and a
private white sand bathing beach.
A staff of four including Pearl the housekeeper and Icy the cook,
who have been at Windward for more than 20 years. They are famous
for their hospitality and cooking and are devoted to your every
comfort.
Four Championship Golf courses are within one mile of Windward.
These are the famous Ritz Carleton "White Witch" golf course that
was opened in the fall of 2000, the Half Moon Golf course and
the Wyndham and Ironshore courses. A fifth famous course, namely
the Tryall Golf course is a 25 minute drive.
Icy and Pearl will make all your dining experiences memorable.
We bet that you will be unable to find any restaurant anywhere
on the Island that can come close to Icy's cooking, at any price.
Lots of fresh food and local vegetables are available and you
may wish to accompany Pearl to the market in Montego Bay. Fishermen
often bring their fresh catch of the day to the beach at Windward!
