Wild Orchid has been feature in Island Home Magazine as one of the grandest new homes in the Caribbean. This is a most glamorous 5 air conditioned bedroom, 5 bathroom which is located on a 220 acre estate which was a former banana and coconut plantation. This very large and expansive home measure 7000 sq feet in size of luxurious indoor and outdoor living. There is a wonderfully large swimming pool and for tennis enthusiasts, a private tennis court which can be lighted for night play.

 

There are two massive Master Bedrooms measuring 20'x30' which needs special mention. Each has their own sitting areas, with oversized ensuite bathrooms. There is one Jacuzzi for relaxing. Each master suite opens onto a lovely balcony, with district views of Montego Bay. All bedrooms are well appointed and most luxurious.

 

This new mansion is of Georgian design reflects the grandness of the original plantation era. This glamorous home has modern amenities throughout, and the interiors are tasteful, and luxurious throughout.

 

There is a most comfortable covered veranda with large bamboo sofas. This is the perfect place for entertaining or just relaxing and enjoying your drinks or reading your favourite book. The staff here are wonderful with Coolie being the cook and head of household for the past 8 years and Trevor is a very attentive butler for the past 10 years.

 

This is a perfect location for weddings or large reception. The atmosphere is superb and the whole property lends itself to graciousness of the plantation era.

 

This villa is located less than ten miles from Montego Bay. It is located minutes drive away from beaches, more than a few world class golf courses, and tennis facilities, restaurants, water sports and craft markets. All guests can enjoy the first class resort facilities of the complimentary membership of yet another famous landmark, Round Hill which is only a few minutes drive from Wild Orchid.

If the guests are going to rent the villa – Wild Orchid requires a minimum of 3 days stay at the full house rental in the summer/low season and a 5 night minimum rental in the high season.  (Excluding holiday weeks)

Pre-payment of groceries of $50pp/per day (or guests can pre purchase their groceries in bulk and deliver to the villa as this is a short stay)
