Knockando Villa at Round Hill is a wonderful deluxe villa located within the prestigious Round Hill Resort. You will be pampered here with an attentive staff of 6 with cook, butler, housekeeper, laundress and gardeners.

This property gives a true feeling of relaxing in luxury while in Jamaica, with contemporary comforts and amenities. With ADSL Internet access for laptop users, this is available in all bedrooms except Treetop - complimentary feature. Included for your entertainment is a DVD, VCR's and cable televisions, new, sports, movies, family and children programs. Sound system also located in the living room, dining room, verandah, excercise and pool area. There is a lovely library of CD's DVD's and videos for both parents and childrens - very family friendly villa.

For outside entertaining, there is a deluxe Lynx grill for our cook to prepare the most delicious meals, your choice of steak, pork chops, fish, chicken, lobster...a culinary delight!

This villa is handicap accessible as it has a ramp for wheelchairs, and 3 handicap bathrooms and toilets. There is also an electric wheelchair (1122 Jazzy) and a Rascal electric transport cart which you may use to transport yourself around Round Hill's resort and beach area.

There are parquet floors in the expansive living room. Here you will find the Cable TV, DVD, internet connection. This large living room opens wide to the central section of the house which leads to a 1,300 sq-ft veranda and this area has the most comfortable and luxurious seating in white canvas on oversized bamboo sofas - generous seating areas - chairs  set under five ceiling fans. At the end of the verandah is a unique bamboo wet bar, with own ice maker, fridge and cable tv. Mix your tropical drinks here - real Jamaican rumpunch style!

At the opposite end of the veranda is a wheelchair accessible bathroom, with a gentle ramp to the pool terrace. The cook here is fantastic at preparing home- cooked meals, and this can be served on this veranda - overlooking the spectacular coastline views of Montego Bay. Three other dining areas include the option of an elegant indoor dining room with a 10' mahogany pedastal table set with Rosenthal, Minton or Royal Worcester china and sterling silver.

ACCOMMODATION at KNOKANDO:

Master Bedroom: This is a large bedroom which is approximately 650 sq feet. It has a large kingsize bed, television, dressing room with a padded mahogany spindle crib, en-suite bathroom with bidet, large walk-in shower and sunken bathrub which is big enough for two. A lovely suite for you! This adjoins the Middle Bedroom.

Middle Bedroom: This bedroom has an optional kingsize or twin beds, television, en-suite bathroom with tub/shower combination. Dressing room has interior passage to Master Bedroom via door that maybe left open or locked in the night for privacy.

Blue Room: This is a large room at 400 square feet. Optional kingsize or twin beds, television, en-suite bathroom with double-sink marble vanity and wheelchair accessible shower with bench, 4 ceiling fans. Interior hallway to small room with one twin bed for child, nanny or another adult. Connecting doors may be left open or closed in the night.

Treetops:This is such a romantic bedroom on the private upper level, with parquet floors, ensuite bathroom with lovely open-air pink marble shower and seaviews. Wraparound wood plank balcony. Georgeous views on three sides.

The Cottage: is about 400 sq feet. This room is located in a free standing building across the lawn, but within close walking distance to the main house. There is a queen size bed, TV, VCR and sound system, desk and wet bar and fridge. There are lovely wooden floors and book shelves. This ensuite bathroom has a booster toilet with side rails, and is wheelchair accessible with shower and bench, Jacuzzi bathtub. This is an excellent handicap accommodation - with all the comforts of home.

Olivia's Tree House: This lovely room is located down one flight of stairs, and is directly under the Treetops room. This makes a lovely upstairs and downstairs accommodation for parents and children or famililies traveling together. There is a colourful play room which also acts as a bedroom for kids. There are bunk beds with safety side rails, trundle beds for two or more children. There is a television and VCR, children's videos, stuffed animals, lots of toys and games, blackboard and a little sink and toilet. This is such a perfect room for kids, they will not want to leave. This entire property is child friendly and there are also baby gates to limit unsupervised access to the pool area.

THE TRYALL CLUB RESORT AND BEACH MEMBERSHIP

A significant amenity for guests in this villa is membership at the excellent Tryall Club.  On 2,200 acres, Tryall’s golf course is among the most beautiful in the world.  Its 18 hillside and seaside fairways have been home to the Johnnie Walker, Mazda and other PGA championship events.  The resident pro offers workshops and private lessons.   The Tryall tennis club features nine Nova Cushion courts, some lit for night play, with world-class pro’s on call.  All whites required.

The beach is well planned for parents and children. Have lunch at the beach bar.  Work out in the well-equipped gym.  Jog the marked trails. Snorkeling, kayaking, hobie cat and sunfish are complimentary.  Glass bottom boats, charter fishing, a boat to the reef and any captained craft attract various fees.  Enjoy the week’s events, including the Monday Night Manager’s Cocktail Party and the Wednesday and Friday night beach parties (Friday Seafood Night on the Beach Buffet is excellent).
