Prospect's 980-acre estate in the resort town of Ocho Rios, Jamaica, has 5 luxurious sea front villas and a historic Great House. The property is located only 1 mile east of the town of Ocho Rios with its major hotels, shopping, dining and entertainment.

Frankfort, Eight Rivers, Frangipani, Somewhere and Wag Water villas each have their own 1-1/2 acre private garden, pool, sun deck and steps into the sea. Frankfort has its own exclusive pristine white sand beach. All villas are also within walking distance of the private white sand beach known as "Reggae Beach" which has a small admission charge and a bar serving local food and drinks

Prospect meal plans may be purchased for a nominal US$50 per adult per day, $25 per child per day. alternatively, guests may make their own arrangements with the cook who will happily purchase and prepare all meals in accordance with their requirement.

Prospect Chapel is located on the plantation. The lovely cut stone arches and hardwood fittings blend perfectly into the outside tropical forest and make the Chapel an idyllic venue for weddings. Have a traditional ceremony at the picturesque Prospect Chapel located in the midst of the tropical and historic Prospect Plantation. Throw a fully catered reception with live music, candle-lit dining and dancing until dawn or have a private ceremony with one of our combined wedding & honeymoon packages.

Guests can also enjoy the free use of the Estate's tennis court and preferential green fees at the nearby Sandals golf and country club. Also, complimentary to guests, are the popular Prospect Plantation jitney and horse back riding tours. Please advise the onsite managers one hour in advance to reserve horses.

Complimentary Airport Transfers - complimentary transfers are included for Prospect Plantation villa rentals of seven nights or more. Helicopter transfers can also be arranged from Montego Bay or Kingston airport to Prospect’s private heli-pad within 15 minutes.

Prospect Plantation is a working Jamaican agricultural property where you can see bananas, cassava, sugarcane, coffee, allspice and many other crops. As your tractor drawn Jitney travels through Prospect your guide will delight you with stories of the colourful history of the estate. It combines the opportunity to enjoy an educational, relaxing and enjoyable trip to one of Jamaica's oldest plantation.

You will see the magnificent White River Gorge. Jamaica's first hydro-electric power station was built here by Sir Harold Mitchell.

Located 700 feet above sea level in Upton, a few miles east of the resort town of Ocho Rios, St Ann. It is a fine course given a four star rating by Golf Digest Magazine. Comparatively short at 6311 yards, par 71, it is however a very scenic course and challenging. Facilities at the Sandals course include a snack bar and beverage carts on the golf course and two practice areas, a putting green with chipping area, and qualified golf instruction by resident PGA Golf Professional.

The Prospect Plantation is a historically significant Plantation and have had guests including Their Royal Highness, The Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, Prince Phillip and Prince Edward, Sir Winston Churchill, Mr. Pierre Trudeau, Dr. Henry Kissinger, Sir Noel Coward, Ian Fleming and many more.
