 Off the beaten track in the quaint fishing village of Treasure Beach, located on the south coast of Jamaica, Jake’s is just two hours from Montego Bay Airport, one and a half-hours from Negril, and a three-hour drive from the capital city of Kingston.

Calabash Bay Villa

• Nestled in golden grass and flowering lignum vitae trees, perched on a gently sloping hillside in the rustic fishing village of Treasure Beach, Calabash Bay Villa and Cottage look out over a breathtaking, mile-long patch of Caribbean blue.

Calabash Bay Villa features 4 bedrooms with swimming pool, a/c, satellite TV, wireless internet access, butler, housekeeper and cook. Access to all Jakes amenities (Media Room, snorkel equipment, restaurants, bar, etc.)

Calabash Cottage - 2 bedrooms

• Also on the property of Calabash Bay is Calabash Cottage. A smaller version of the main house, this unit is well-suited for a small family and includes two bedrooms, a shared bathroom, full kitchen, inside and outside dining, and a great wooden deck for lounging or tanning. With its own private access to the beach, this cottage can be rented by itself or in conjunction with Calabash Bay Villa. The Cottage is best suited for two adults and two children or teenagers if part of the Villa’s party. Guests of the Cottage do not have access (unless part of the Villa’s party) to the pool, but they have full beach access and access to Jake’s saltwater pool. A housekeeper will service the two-bedroom unit on a daily basis (including turn-down service), however cooking is the responsibility of the guests.

Cave Canem - 4 bedrooms

•  Named after a famous villa in ancient Rome, Cave Canem, with its commanding view of Jamaica’s south coast and two-level Mediterranean-style architecture, is the newest addition to our ocean-front villa collection. Modern and luxe, it’s perfect for a large family or group of friends and includes four king-sized beds, infinity pool, wireless internet two flat-screen TVs, blu-ray disc player & movie collection, air-conditioning in all four bedrooms, five terraces, large garden & private beach access. Booked through Jake’s, guests will have access to all the amenities and features offered down the road to in-house guests including access to the tv/games room, borrowing dvds and cds from the vast collection as well as snorkel equipment, use of the business services at the front desk, the Jake’s restaurant and Dougie’s bar.

Hope House - 4 bedrooms

• The villa features four-bedrooms (one king, two twins and a queen) with adjoining full bathrooms and a/c, full kitchen, combined living and dining room, outdoor eating areas and stargazing decks as well as a an infinity plunge pool, outdoor Jacuzzi (off the master bedroom), outdoor barbeque area, satellite television and wireless Internet access. Booked through Jake’s, guests will have access to all the amenities and features offered down the road to in-house guests including access to the tv/games room, borrowing dvds and cds from the vast collection as well as snorkel equipment, use of the business services at the front desk, the Jake’s restaurant and Dougie’s bar.

Itopia - 3 bedrooms

• The three-bedroom Itopia is sharing its historical and artistic energy with year-round short and medium-term rentals.  Conveniently located with easy beach access, Itopia provides a secluded sanctuary with the option of activities and excitement.  Old world charm marries modern facilities here with a full staff, lush gardens, high-speed wireless Internet and cable television.

The Restaurant at Jake's

Operating according to the mantra “Eat what you grow, Grow what you eat,” our gourmet kitchen-style restaurant is committed to serving fresh house made food using the finest produce from local farmers. Our seasonal market menu, which changes daily, is a direct reflection of the robustness and hospitality that is unique to the southern coast. Fresh is the order of the day - seasonal fish, crab and lobster are bountiful and fished in a manner that preserves our eco-friendly standard - and all of our desserts and ice creams are house made. Led by head chef Frank Brown, our restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with fresh fruit juices, teas and coffee. A scintillating vegetarian menu is available at all times.

Jack Sprat Pizza and Seafood Restaurant

Located on the western end of the property, and cushioned in its very own bay, Jack Sprat’s serves up seafood prepared and seasoned to your preference in a relaxed outdoor setting. In addition to boasting the best pizza on the island - hands-down! - Jack Sprat’s has an ice cream counter, weekly beach bonfires, live music (on public holidays) and is in the process of developing a mini Reggae museum. A genuine hub for the local community, Jack Sprat’s is a favorite among our guests.

Dougie's Bar

One taste of our signature rum punch and you will understand why Dougie’s is a Jake’s institution. Manned by the legend himself, the Bar overlooks the poolside and the ocean beyond, and is garnished with Jamaican memorabilia, including an iconic image of Reggae immortal Bob Marley. Enjoy a round of cards or dominoes while lounging under a full island moon. Service begins at 10 AM each morning and ends when the last guest calls it an evening.

Cooking Lessons

By prior arrangement, Jake’s chefs will gladly schedule a cooking lesson for a maximum party of four. Discover the secrets of Jerk seasoning and spices, or learn how to prepare exotic tropical fruits, such as ackee, as well as traditional dishes like 'Run Down.’ Lessons are normally scheduled for midweek, between 3 and 5 PM, and can be arranged through our front desk.

WEDDINGS & HONEYMOONS:                                  

 Whether you opt for an intimate sunset gathering on your own seaside  deck, or a bigger bash at one of our luxury villas, our staff is at your disposal to  make your big day the wedding of your dreams. With the help of an on-site wedding coordinator, you’ll be able to plan everything from food to photographer and bouquet to band before you even arrive. Rest assured even though we are off the beaten track, your every fancy can be found and every budget met.

We have a long tradition of delivering an unforgettable honeymoon full of romance and relaxation. It starts with our honeymoon cottages, which are not  only all-around gorgeous, but have the added luxury of balconies located so close to the ocean that you can literally dip your toes right in the water and  sexy under the stars decks.
