The Palmyra ESPA
A 30,000 Square Foot, purpose built sanctuary of indulgence and rejuvenation
The Palmyra boasts the added luxury of Jamaica's first destination spa,
designed under the guidance of global spa guru Susan Harmsworth, CEO
and Founder of global spa company ESPA.
ESPA comprises of 14 treatment rooms, 3 private suites, aromatic Caldarium
and Laconium steam rooms, portico covered vitality pools with ocean
views, lifestyle showers and ice fountain areas for the ultimate in
relaxation.
Organized around a beautiful garden courtyard with private outdoor areas
for treatment and relaxation, it's modern, island style simplicity reflects
the rich architectural heritage of Jamaica with deep, eaved verandahs,
grand staircases, jalousied windows and doors and warm stone walls.
Much of the guest's experience in this two-level spa will take place
outdoors on the many terraces, water gardens and connected courtyards.
"Our concept for The Palmyra ESPA is to merge the spa's natural
setting and beautiful architecture with our natural healing and relaxation
practices, providing our guests with an unforgettable experience as
they move from being into wellbeing," said Laura Boss, ESPA project
manager.
ESPA is many things - it is not dominated by one single element but
is a fusion of many. Deep within ESPA's philosophy is the determination
to combine the best of ancient and modern therapies with the finest
quality ingredients and skin care advances.
The result is an unusual combination of Spa inspired products, treatments
and services that harness the best of aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, thalassotherapy,
and phytotherapy. Absorbing these elements the ESPA philosophy is focused
upon enhancing an individual's lifestyle in a way that is both holistic
and versatile. Above all our commitment is to products and treatments
that really work.

Golfing in the Montego Bay area:
If you have booked a villa with Jamaican Treasures in the Spring Farm
area (Rose Hall), your luxury villa is just a chip shot away from three
of the best Jamaica golf courses - each internationally acclaimed for
their championship layouts and amenities.
These beautifully designed Montego Bay golf courses offer breathtaking
views of refreshing waterfalls, lush mountains, white sandy beaches,
and towering palm trees. Masterfully designed by renowned designers,
each layout provides a truly unique and challenging experience for golfers
of all skill levels.
White Witch Golf Course: Designed by golf course architects
Robert von Hagge and Rick Baril, this par-71, 6,719-yard course winds
through the mountains of Jamaica's historic Rose Hall Plantation. The
course is named for the plantation’s original owner, Annee Palmer. In
addition to lush greenery, rolling countryside and championship play,
the White Witch also features panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea from
16 of its 18 holes. Learn More about White Witch Golf. www.whitewitchgolf.com
Cinnamon Hill Golf Course: Built on a 400-acre sugar
plantation, this 18-hole championship level golf course was originally
designed by Hank Smedley and revamped in 2001 by Robert Von Hagge and
Rick Baril. It features a par-71, 6,637-yard layout with an open, wind–swept
front nine, a tight, trap–filled back nine bordered by dense foliage
and stunning ocean and mountain views. Inlaid stone walls and sugar
mill plantation ruins are scattered among the tees and bunkers. For
movie buffs, the waterfall behind the 15th green served as the set for
a classic James Bond seduction scene in "Live and Let Die".Learn
