Greenwood Great House

This is one of the greatest Great Houses in Jamaica. It was originally built by the Barretts of Wimpole Street in 1790 for entertaining, has the finest antique museum in the Caribbean plus amazing views from the upper verandah of curve in the earth’s surface. Well worth the trip to Falmouth. $10 entry fee. 953-1077. You may also want to combine this trip to go horse back riding at Good Hope Plantation (610-5798) and stop for lunch at the rustic Time ‘n’ Place Beach which was named “the best beach bar in the Caribbean” by Conde Nast.

Negril

Located 1 hour west of Montego Bay. Very casual and relaxing place to let your hair down! 7 miles of white sandy beach, clubs, restaurants, reggae and beach bars. Absolutely casual atmosphere.
